Clay Goodman, former Fitness Center director for Estrella Mountain Community College, co-developed FitnessTrac with Kelly Dean Corder of Corder Associates, Inc. in 1995. Clay was tired of wasting countless hours searching through three different databases to answer simple student inquiries. Clay identified a need for a paperless login/out system, the need for instant access to student records, quicker reconciliation of student and teacher attendance differences, plus the need to produce his own reports as he needed them.

Clay consulted with Kelly, and together they developed a program that specifically met Clay's fitness center needs. FitnessTrac is the result of this collaboration -- the ultimate data and time management solution that improves student service, saves time, increases enrollment and gives fitness center directors valuable and complete analysis of their center's activity.

The end result has been very profitable for Estrella Mountain Community College, a member of the Maricopa Community College District. Estrella's fitness center has turned into a profit center. Specialized fitness programs and workshops have been developed and enrollment is high. Overall college enrollment is up and fitness center users report higher satisfaction. FitnessTrac has enabled Estrella to be the best fitness center it can be.

FitnessTrac has continued to evolve to become well-suited to all colleges and university fitness centers.
